Home Again

Looked at my map but to my surprise,
There were different coordinates not listed on there,
My tears quickly filled the glass had I been misled?
More like a redirect just to come home again,

I know the knocks have been louder than usual,
Who is to say you can't home again?
Truer words are spoken in the hardest of times,
But to listen is a harder wall to climb,

I've learned there's no shame to come home again,
Is where my Creator and story is found,
The redirect gets louder when the story grows colder,
They don't tell this in church,

Home can always be found
For He breathes life into me when all I could do is crawl,
Just to be near Him in the Greatest Home
All the one that watches over Earth,

Who is to say you can't find home again?

About this poem

When you've lost your way sometimes it's necessary to come home again and visit with yourself.
