Echoes of Regret: A Journey Through Trials

In the shadows of past choices, I stand,
Regret's heavy weight, a shifting sand.
Met the wrong one, a fateful turn,
Lonely nights, heart's yearn.

Sorry for the pain you bore,
Through trials and troubles, and so much more.
A baby born from mismatched ties,
In the midst of regrets, your spirit flies.

Married to the wrong, a path astray,
Lessons learned along the way.
Too nice, perhaps, a heart exposed,
Yet strength resides where pain imposed.

Regrets woven into life's grand scheme,
Lessons learned, though they may seem extreme.
Let the past guide toward the light,
For within regrets, growth takes flight.
