Love's Universal Symphony

In a world of shadows cast, where hearts may stray,
Amidst the chaos, love finds its own sweet way.
A timeless truth, like stars that gleam above,
A melody that sings, "All you need is love."

Love blooms in every meadow's gentle hue,
Embracing souls with hues of every view.
It dances on the winds and in the rain,
A force that heals, transcending joy and pain.

In acts of kindness, love's true essence lies,
Unveiling grace, the heart begins to rise.
It speaks through whispers, tender and profound,
A symphony that wraps the world around.

Through darkest nights, love is a guiding light,
An ember glowing, burning ever bright.
When tears are shed, and troubles seem too much,
Love cradles spirits with its gentle touch.

It knows no boundaries, no walls to bind,
A treasure found in every heart and mind.
From every corner of the Earth above,
The universal anthem: "All you need is love."

In love's embrace, we find our common thread,
A web of life, where every soul is fed.
For when we love, we truly come alive,
United as one, our spirits take flight.

So let love be the compass of our days,
And let it guide us through life's winding maze.
With love as our guide, we'll rise and transcend,
For in its magic, we find peace unending.

Let love ignite the passions deep within,
Let hearts be open, free from fear and sin.
In every moment, in all we dream of,
We'll soar on wings of love, for love is all we need.

Tammie Swinehart

Not much to say. I live in a small town in Indianapolis and work full-time as a manager for an insurance company. I have written poems going back to grade school. They were all horrible, but fun and passed the time. I have journals of poems that go back 40 years. So now that I have more free time, I dig them out, clean them up while preserving the original thought and meaning behind them. more…
