The Wind and the Rain

She cried and cried and cried some more
Until she could not hear
The sounds of tears she heard before
'Till Wind drowned noise of tears.

She walked and walked and walked away,
'Till Gray Cloud was above
Her low enough to hear her say
She's lost without his love!

She said, "He would not marry me.
His heart will not be mine!
I need a place where I can be,
Where tears are left behind

Regardless of the sounds I make.
So, may I cry right here?"
The Cloud said yes and for her sake,
His rain would hide each tear.
