Flower Sisters #2

You were so much to me
And yet my eyes failed to see,
The lovely Flower Sisters we could be.

With a face as bright as a day lily,
My Day Lily
Your personality was as yellow as the sun
When you bloomed in the day,
In the midst of spring
The birds and everyone would sing
"What a pretty sight ones eyes have ever seen.

You were the best version everybody wished to be
My Day Lily my inspiration, motivation,
My Sister and my bright pink glitter.

But as the sun set
And the moon appears
The time best known for
Shedding tears and facing fear
My white petals start to bloom-

Tuberose.

With an intense, sweet, spicy
And tropical scent.
A scent that many find hard to resent
"A piece of abstract art"
As many would comment.
Its not always what it seems to be.

As fall ends and summer begins
You'd see me there-- far away
Covered by a mist as people
Passed and I always felt their grins.´

My Day Lily was my source of hope
Your Tuberose was there when
You couldn't cope.

My light shinned from the moon
And stars while yours
From the glazing sun

I hope the day arrives for
The Flower Sisters to be
And you come to know how much
You meant to me
So forever know that the only
Day blooming flower I've ever
Thought of as perfect was my
Day Lily
And best believe you deserved it.
