Tormented Mind

In the depths of torment, where pain takes its hold,
A poem whispers the story of a soul once bold.
Mental abuse, a silent battle fought within,
Where stress and depression wage a war so grim.

A spirit once vibrant, now burdened and worn,
Swallowed by darkness, the soul torn.
Each word a weapon, each action a blow,
Leaving scars unseen, a heart crying low.

The weight of the world, a suffocating weight,
A heaviness on the chest, a relentless freight.
Thoughts of despair, like a haunting refrain,
Pushing the mind towards a treacherous lane.

In the depths of despair, hope's flicker is dim,
But listen, dear soul, there's strength deep within.
Reach out, seek solace, for help can be found,
In a loving embrace, a support that's profound.

You're not alone, my friend, in this solemn fight,
Many hearts, like yours, ache in the night.
Hold on to whispers of hope, however small,
For brighter days await, breaking this cruel thrall.

Know that your worth, your spirit's pure light,
Outshines the darkness, banishing the night.
The pain you endure, the battles you face,
Give rise to resilience, a story of grace.

Seek out a helping hand, a listening ear,
For in sharing your burden, healing draws near.
Together we'll rise, stronger than before,
United against despair, opening hope's door.

Let this poem be a reminder, a beacon, a plea,
That amidst mental abuse, liberation is key.
Choose life over silence, let your voice be heard,
For your story's significance should never be absurd.

About this poem

I have been going through mental abuse for so long now I’m so used to it , and it irritates me . I have children with the mental abuser and it’s hard sometimes because narcissists use the kids as pawns . Check on the quiet ones , we battle in silence .
