BLIND FISH

In the depths of the ocean blue,
There lived a fish, blind and true,
With scales as dark as the midnight sky,
And a heart that never ceased to try.

Though it couldn't see the world around,
It felt the waves and heard the sound,
Of the creatures that passed it by,
And the whispers of the sea nearby.

It swam with grace and poise so rare,
With fins that glimmered, sleek and fair,
And though its sight was never clear,
Its spirit was alive and here.

The other fish would often stare,
At this blind fish with such great care,
For they could see the light of soul,
That kept it swimming, whole and whole.

And though it swam in endless night,
This fish found its own path of light,
And showed that true beauty is within,
Even when it's hard to even begin.

So let this fish be a guide,
To those who swim with eyes so wide,
And learn to see beyond the sight,
To find the wondrous depths of life.
