Time

The price of time is regret or reward
Time is the most precious gold
The kind of currency
You can’t afford to throw away
It is often misspent
For the wrong reasons
And once spent
Can’t be recovered
Give your time and attention
To those who are worth it
To those who reciprocate equally
Find those who vibe on your frequency
There you will find time and attention
Invested and returned in good measure.

The value of my pocket is worth
Time exchanged living moments as
Joy jingles as shiny coins
Placed in grateful hands
When you pay attention to someone
Making them feel special
Doing good never gets old
You know you’re banking bigly
When the scales tip towards kindness
In your heart’s direction
Smiles build up interest
And dividends galore overflow
Pay the present moment its due
And your future will shine for sure.
