What would he say?

Nika Gaspard 1971 (Lafayette)

A kiss so gentle
It takes my breath away
Every time he looks into my eyes
There is where I want to stay
Lock into his gaze
He had me at that first hello
He just didn’t know
That I was memorized by his touch
I long for it so much again
I want him to be all mine
I miss all of him
His eyes are like looking into a mirror
His touch so gentle
His voice so soothing to my ear
His kiss so sweet
Scared to say anything
Don’t want to mess this up
For what he doesn’t feel the same
What if he doesn’t miss me
What if he doesn’t like my eyes looking into his
What he doesn’t think my touch is loving
What he doesn’t think my kiss is intoxicating
What if I didn’t have him at the first hello
What if he doesn’t like my touch next to his skin
What if he doesn’t like my voice in his ear
Should I tell him that I miss all of him and I think of him often even though it has been such short time
I wonder if he would feel the same
I wonder what he would say
