Sun and Moon

Sleepless nights, dizzy heights
Memories of you and me having
pillow fights
I was on top of the earth
Shining so bright
You were the reason, even though
in darkness
I was alive
I know we are apart, you left me
surely for good
We may never be together, even if
we should
Shining so bright
You were the reason, even though
in darkness
I was alive
I know we are apart, you left me
surely for good
We may never be together, even if
we should
No one would ever know the
reason why
Even though I was emitting light
I was burning inside
