Stranger

In a world both vast and wide,
A stranger wandered free.
Searching for love, not yet seen,
His heart yearned to be.
Through mountains tall and valleys low,
His weary feet did tread.
A tale untold, a thirst unquenched,
He looked for love ahead.

In a distant land, so far away,
A maiden fair did roam.
She longed for love, for passion's touch,
To turn her heart to home.
Through meadows green and forests dark,
Her soul did seek reprieve.
A lonely heart, a longing gaze,
She hoped love to receive.

Destiny smiled, as fate would weave,
Their paths did intertwine.
Upon a hill, beneath moon's glow,
Their eyes did brightly shine.
A stranger's hand and maiden's touch,
A spark between the two.
A stolen kiss, a lover's pact,
Their love forever true.

But life is cruel, and storms do rage,
In love’s tempestuous seas.
The stranger's heart, once strong and brave,
Now lay shattered on his knees.
A twist of fate, a tragic fall,
Took his lover from his side.
A love to mourn, a life to grieve,
His heartache cannot hide.

The stranger wandered aimlessly,
His heart forever scarred.
In distant lands, he searched in vain,
For love as bright as stars.
Through deserts hot and oceans deep,
His tears did freely flow.
In every face, his lover's grace,
He longed for love to show.

And as the sun set in the sky,
A stranger neared his end.
On foreign shores, with salt-filled eyes,
To his knees, he did descend.
But in that moment, fate prevailed,
Love's hand reached out to him.
A kindred soul, a gentle heart,
A stranger's love would win.

And so the stranger’s heart found peace,
In love he'd longed to find.
With his new love, a life reborn,
In this world so unkind.
Through love and loss, he learned to live,
To cherish every day.
A stranger no more, for love endures,
His adventure now a loving stay.
