Reveries

Melting away, but I’m feeling fine

I Don’t really know how to say goodbye

Gently fading now

Too late to turn around

Catch me walking down that line

Reveries

Stirring up inside

Suddenly I see

Worries falling someplace far behind

Why’d  you have to leave as you arrived

Blink of an eye…

Melting away, but I’m feeling fine

I Don’t really know how to say goodbye

Quickly coming down

At the speed of sound

Catch me falling from the sky

Reveries

Still you tease my mind

Now and then it seems

Bittersweet to know you’re passing by

Why’d you have to leave as you arrived

Blink of an eye

I’ve seen days with no more fears

No more fighting no more tears were left to cry

Am I a fool to come here all the time

Reveries

I must say goodbye

Suddenly A dream of

What could be, slowly passes by

Why’d you have to leave as you arrived

Blink of an eye

Melting away, but I'm feeling fine

I don’t really know how to say goodbye

About this poem

This is about that moment when the inner dreamer is in that magical place where everything is possible and how I get sad when I fall out of that
