Prayers to Papa

~ Now i lay me down to sleep within my papa the truth i seek!

~If i shall die before i wake in facts and proof the truth ill believe!

~Losing you was so hard; To think one second your are sorta there eyes open calling out to dad but you were to weak!

~Most of the time now i when im standing at a crossroads the first question i ask myself what would Papa do which path should i hike!

~That memory plays over and over in my head the day you stopped breathing my heart shattered that day!

~One of the most moving experinces ive ever had in my life, A part of you stayed with me that day too, you taught me the value of family, also i think when i sing i hear your voice we love music thats how we are alike!

~Now i lay me down to sleep within my papa the truth i seek, Since i was little you were my hero for saving my sister and i you took me under your wing we were joined at the hip, always cheek to cheek, now here i am on my knees doing something else you taught me, how to pray!

~Was angry at first about your wife not having a single picture of my sister or you and me; Now i have all my memories and that piece of you with me forever!

~ I still remember being young and you having to sing me to sleep, kept having reoccuring nightmares that scared me to much to sleep!

~Now i lay me down to sleep within my papa the truth i seek, Within my head when i sing or try to fall asleep its your voice in my heart is where i keep!
