Pass it on
Pass it on'
As the heat becomes too much for me
all i see is red
a man beside me screams
"how come i'm not dead?"
sure that i am dreaming
i reach out and touch the flame
my heart begins to blister
the father calls my name
at his feat , i plead my case
"after all these fuckin years?"
i tell him of my garden
watered with my tears
he points up and says"you've served me well
and this is what you've earned
your garden doesn't need you now
the crows have all returned"
he tells me there is work to do
thru the flames i see a cave
inside a baby's crying
the others have been saved
"raise this one to be like you
they say he can't be fixed"
he offers me a bottle
it"s time to feed the bitch
