My Point of View

Where could it possibly be?
From a distance there are no shelter
There is no music to hear
Only a mirror in the water

Where is my reflection?
Dark and cold, silence remain still
I vision watching you close
Wish my sense of touch were real

Where does it shine, I wonder?
A wall full of holes
The naked trees daring and scarce
A portrait Mother Nature unfolds

Where do I stand from here?
A stranded image not alone
Lost and winded, shamelessly
The deep and long-awaited tone

About this poem

This poem is literally about my shadow. I was in a state of mind of finding self-reflection and seeking perspective.
