My Life

Ouko Abayo 1999 (nairobi)

Not everything works out in the end
Not everytime you have to blend
Whenever you are wronged you don't have to bend
We all get tired (sigh)
Well that's my life

Some say we are too young
Stress knows no age
Depression attacks both old and young
We usually don't check the feelings gauge
Piling up anger into a grudge
We all get tired (sigh)
Well that's my life

No one is perfect
We all have our mistakes
For one to talk about
They must have found they live with snakes
We all get tired (sigh)
Well that's my life

I say this with pain
Who knows I might be slain
Not everyday does the truth hurt
It moulds us to have better a heart
I agree family is a special unit
But to it there's a special unit
Every argument escalates To its speed limit
We all get tired (sigh)
Well that's my life..

They say we were built from earth
Well it's time we said we tried
To be happy you had lied
Life isn't an easy math
We all get tired
Well that's my life

     Sighs...
