Life in Oregon

Life in Oregon started out young,
I knew nothing but had lots of fun.
As I grew started school and things, snakes, sports, even animals with wings
My family was poor but big on love. Mom taught us all about faith and God above.
Life wasn't easy, I learned how
Nothing is free but freedom
My dad he was seasoned.
My parents worked hard, now so do I.
Oregon has changed but I haven't much, I look around and see the sky.
Things have changed and we all move on but faith, hope and love are still strong.
