If i am to die

If I'm to die
Pay heed my words
Let them see not me yet
Until you raise my head
Till the sun and I doth stare
But no, still not yet
Pierce your knife into my mouth
And cut these thin arms of mine
Chain my feet
And incise both sides
Is it not a beautiful sight?
Let acid! run down my neck
Till my head,now made bright
Is the only view.
And only then
Can you throw me away
To face the harshness of life.

About this poem

Most times we have insecurities, we wish that people won't see though they are so visible. In my poem, the individual sees death as the only time she gets to hide them away but in the end, she realises that, even with that there'll still be something to laughter about.
