I Love You For Who You Are

Title:  I Love You For Who You Are
by Fred Monte Lassonde

Remembering you as I lament

Heartbroken as I am

Believing your sweet love is Heaven sent

Wishing we could start over again

Near 50 years have gone by

Much more than desire and lust

When you are hurt I do cry

For your well-being is a must

For your Love I did really try

In my life you are my Lady Star

You shined bright in my Heart

For I Love you for who you are

Oh, how I wish for a fresh start

I meant it when I said I Love You

Love should not be so sad

I do not know what I can do

For sure I am not angry nor mad

No, I honestly Love you

Always and Forever True

I have a Heart of Love for you

Thinking about you

Want only your Best

My heart beats for you

The very Heart within my Chest

My Dearest friend, my shining Star

May you come to realize my Heart

For I Love you for who you are

I go on lamenting as I do

For Dear I honestly do

Love YOU!
