I am Home

Please forgive me for leaving you, please don’t feel alone.
But God told me he needed me he told me it’s time to come home.
As I was resting, soundly in my bed, I heard a knock at the door.
As An angel appeared it told me you can rest now you don’t need to worry anymore.
as I opened up my eyes another angel was standing there
as I looked into its eyes
This angel said please come with me and it took my hand and led me to the sky.
please don’t cry for me, please don’t shed a tear.
I am with my Lord and Savior. I am safe, I have no fear.
Please remember I am not alone.
Because I have entered into paradise and heaven is now my home
the angel then took my hand and told me God is waiting for you.
Your work is done there is nothing left for you to do.
as I stand there at the pearly gates waiting patiently
I look beyond the gates as I see my family.
As the gates of heaven open, they embarrass me with a hug.
They told me please don’t be scared, it’s time to meet our Lord and Savior from above.
As I stood there before my father, I didn’t know what to say.
But God knows already what’s in our hearts, so he knew exactly what I wanted to say.
As I talked with God, he told me I have done such wonderful things.
From the past to the present to my friends and my family
I asked God about my family he said don’t worry they will be okay.
For eternity means forever and you’ll see them again someday
Please don’t cry for me please don’t shed a tear.
For I am with my father now I am walking and have no fear
Please remember I’m no longer suffering.
For God has made my body whole.
I am with my family please don’t worry because I am now home.
