Family

In a distant land, my family lies,
Separated by miles, under different skies.
Though far from them, I hold them dear,
Their memory lingers, so crystal clear.

I miss them dearly, with each passing day,
Their love and warmth, like a gentle ray.
My heart longs for the way Mum used to be,
Her tender touch, a comforting sea.

Life has changed, a path now untamed,
Work and study combined, life rearranged.
Balancing the scales of responsibility's weight,
Yearning for the moments with family to sate.

Yet, amidst the struggle, I hold my ground,
With determination, my dreams unbound.
The toil and effort, a price I pay,
To make them proud in every way.

To my family, I make this vow,
I'll return soon, I'll be there somehow.
In the embrace of love, we'll reunite,
Chasing away the shadows of the night.

With open arms, we'll share our tales,
Laughing and crying, through hills and dales.
The distance may test us, but we are strong,
Together we'll rise, and nothing will go wrong.

So until the day, we meet again,
I'll cherish their love, like a priceless gem.
For family's bond, no borders can keep,
In my heart, their love runs deep.
