Fall

inspiration has been shallow
and my head feels hollow

i feel like i'm running out of oxygen
but that's clearly not what i need
now i'm kicking and screaming in my head to just calm down and breath

i'm hurting myself again
not physically but mentally
this time around, i'm debating with my demons
trying to avoid cuts, tears and scars
i'm busy fighting

but it's never been that easy tho
unbeaten obstacle course pushing against the flow
personality been stabbing anxious flesh
anxiety calling for backup and depression picks up the call without hesitating at all

but this time, i don't plan to be weak
this time, i'll be standing tall
