Basement for Rent

A recently renovated one-bedroom basement
Is available for rent!
It's nearby Woodhaven City J train and
Q Fifty-Six Bus!

By the time, different thoughts of living
Float in the water with hesitation
For New Yorkers who are in financial straits;
The city's basements are captivating for them.
In the basement, deep bottom of the stairs
Even more down, where
All masterpieces are easy to imagine.
Here, to listen to the silence of the grave
No one needs to be qualified or pay
It is pretty cool here with the blowing wind
The body will not rot quickly,
Even if somebody dies.
The darkness is assured here.

Additional ghostly feeling at no cost
python hides behind the wall, roof
There is frozen panic in the spiral pipe.
From the invisible basement to the subway station
Or inside to the port,

Darkness glistens in the gray morning,
Fear of seeing the light today, twinkling in eyes
The hypocritical crown of immigration fades all speech records!
Myopic Sun looks for the Ether's news
on Washington Post!
Immigrant life in the jaws of the basement,
Searching for a remedy to get relief!
