All shall be well

Griffin Barasa 2004 (Kenya)

In the realm of voices, strong and loud,
A leader emerges from the crowd,
With fire in their eyes and passion ablaze,
They fight for justice in myriad ways.

An opposition leader, brave and bold,
Their mission, to break the chains that hold,
The citizens captive, their rights denied,
In this land where inequality resides.

With every speech, their words ignite,
A flame of hope, burning bright,
They rally the masses, awaken their might,
To stand up and challenge the unjust plight.

They march through streets, side by side,
With banners raised, their spirits can't hide,
Demanding justice, equality for all,
As they heed the leader's empowering call.

In the halls of power, they make their stand,
A voice for the voiceless, a guiding hand,
They question policies, expose the lies,
Unmasking the truth that the powerful tries.

Through debates and discussions, they persist,
Unyielding in their pursuit of a twist,
To the system that favors the privileged few,
While neglecting the needs of the many, it's true.

They champion education, a right for all,
To break down barriers, to stand tall,
For every child deserves a chance,
To learn and grow, to advance.

They fight for healthcare, accessible and fair,
No longer a privilege for those who dare,
To pay exorbitant prices for a chance to heal,
While others suffer, their pain concealed.

In the face of adversity, they remain strong,
Defying those who say they're wrong,
For they know deep within their core,
That justice and freedom are worth fighting for.

So let us stand beside this leader bold,
Their cause, our own, forever told,
For in their fight for citizens' rights,
We find the strength to ignite the light.

Together we'll rise, united we'll be,
In this battle for justice and equality,
And as we march forward, hand in hand,
We'll build a nation that will forever stand.
