A message to my better half

What happened to us? I ask myself that question every day but still get no answers The way, you just became distant. The way you used everything you thought of as an excuse for your behavior. You being distant showed me a lot of things. I then realized that I was neglecting myself for you. I noticed that I stopped doing some things because I was too focused on you. I neglected my passion, things I love, just so I capture each and every moment I shared with you. You made me realize that I mean a lot That l shouldn't give my all, that I should just reflect on what I got. Remember when you said' I will always be there for you' but you weren't there when l experienced a mental breakdown. I couldn't get a hold of you. I felt the walls close in, difficulty in breathing, tears gushing down my face like a water fall. Cried until I didn't have tears left in me. Cried until I passed out on my wet pillow. All I needed was your reassurance, your voice to calm me down. Just wanted to let you know that everything you do, not only does it break me, it also builds me. Thank you for being there for the past two months, wish you stayed longer.
