A Meandering Cacophony of Thought That Evades Fate

Contractual obligations toward your future self
Non-Factual invocations that deprive you of your health
Actual comparisons between poverty and wealth
Emmanuel on the eve of a heavenly operation of stealth

Bellowing antiquities of integrated life forms moving
Fellow things that have consummated the notions that you are grooving
Yellowing age old invigorated sojourns that need viewing
Mellowing contrasts of time fade as you continue your fuming

Another tyrrade of dissident rhetorical discourse
The will to invade your neighbouring country without remorse
The shrill parade of a fleet of naval ships veering off course
While the retrograde of your emotions bring with it the inclination for recourse

Elemental tides upon the ebbing flow of time cascading
Influential vibes of a man who is simply fascinating
Consequential sides of an oath that needs constant consecrating
Coincidental rides through space that are perpetually oscillating

Pertinent notions of the intricacy of simply being
Salient devotions of intimacy focused only on what they’re seeing
Relevant promotions of illiteracy that prevent the poor from dreaming
Prevalent crimes that only you can see as the UFO’s light up their beaming

Fortuitous events that predict your next steps to be taken
Gratuitous contempt for those who seem visibly to be shaken
Circuitous lament for those left behind when we awaken
Virtuitous intent in the way a concept becomes mistaken

A distinct glimmer of light shining in the corner of an old man’s eye
The instinct to stand and fight when we are forced not to run and hide
A precinct that needs respite as it’s over run with constant crime
To rethink your inclinations for delight when you seek to redefine

Consequential limitations for what we hold dear and true
Environmental visitations that require us to invent so much anew
Influential imitations of a certain point of view
Monumental inclinations of what it means to just be you

The innocence of those children hiding from a threat
The emergence of a building architecturally complex
The convergence of one who is willing not to remain too vexed
The insurgence of the giving, invoking one who has been hexed

I don’t presume to understand or comprehend or to conspire
If I exhume upon the land before my soul comes to retire
I shall resume the awe I hold for the grand illusions from a fire
As the plumes of smoke rise from the stand I take to extricate myself from this quagmire
