Little Angels

two little angels descending in my house
one named Myra, one named Rifa
Myra and Rifa, Myra and Rifa

two holy seraphs walking in my orchard
one is leading, one is trailing
leading and trailing, leading and trailing

two cute lasses sitting on my shoulders
one on the left, one on the right
left and right, left and right

two giggly lassies swinging by the tree
one goes up, one goes down
up and down, up and down

two small fawns moving in and out
one eats fruit, one eats nut
fruit and nut, fruit and nut

two buoyant sparrows chirping in the morning
one is at high, one is at low
high and low, high and low

two radiant chicks running on the grass
one at the rear, one at the front
rear and front, rear and front

two naïve squirrels wriggling in my courtyard
one is loud, one is quiet
loud and quiet, loud and quiet

two tender does thumping on the ground
one is in, one is around
in and around, in and around

two lovely buds blooming in my garden
one reek rose, one whiff jasmine
rose and jasmine, rose and jasmine

two charming butterflies hovering above the flowers
one is here, one is there
here and there, here and there

two jaunty ducklings waddling in the water
one at the back, one at the forth
back and forth, back and forth

two precious fish swimming in the pond
one at the start, one at the end
start and end, start and end

two pretty cygnets pecking each other
one on the cheek, one on the chin
cheek and chin, cheek and chin

two exquisite kittens ogle at one another
sometime they agree, sometime they spar
agree and spar, agree and spar

two energetic fillies scuttle together
one is the champ one is the victor
champ and victor, champ and victor

two brave lionesses pouncing on their foe
one from the head, one from the tail
head and tail, head and tail

two amazing peachicks dancing in my house
spreading their guffaw, abuzz all around
abuzz all around, abuzz all around

two cuddly cherubs gathering in my dream
one is up, one is asleep
up and asleep, up and asleep

they are the melody, they are the breeze
they are the blessing, they are the marvel
they are the darling, they are the cutie-pie
they are the bundle of joy, they are the sunshine

they are the apple of my eyes, they are the light of my soul
they are the bone of my bones, they are the flesh of my flesh
they are  the breathe of my life, they are the oomph of my sight
one day they will depart from me, still I love them more than Thee
