Deep Demons

I sit here pondering yesterday
I sit here thinking of tomorrow
I use to wear a smile
Now I carry a demons
It seems over time darkness has taken over
I have a sword of light
But it's not very bright
I try to cut the cloud
I try to run
But life has me
Darkness surrounds me
With no way out
Demons haunt my dreams
Dreams from yester year
Dreams of tomorrow
No way out of this box
So dark is life
That no light dares to shine near
