Walking alone

I’m hurt to the bone.
I’m not sure what to do.
I have apologized and I apologize again
I never meant to cause any pain,
I love with all my heart but,
I understand what was said,.
I should have kept it to myself,
I should have banished it to a mental shelf.
My hearts was hurt and I trusted a piece of shit,
The arrows were flung, and I got hit.
I wont make that mistake again.
I’ve been closed off for so long
But opening up turned out wrong.
I’ll go back to my space, I wont ask,
So please don’t tell.
This drama and shit will not end well.
Vengeance is mine said the Lord.
He also said my sins were washed away
And the person I was, I am not today.
For whatever truth may have been, I’m sorry.
It wont happen again ,don’t worry.
I can’t defend myself without hurting others
So I will stay silent, my voice is forbidden.
One day the truth will come out, nothing will be hidden.
A time will come and I’ll account for my wrongs.
I pray for the end, it’s gone on too long.
I may not know how this ends,
But while I’m still here I’ll try to make amends.
I’ll never be perfect, I’ll mess up again.
But, that doesn’t mean the devil will win.
