Night

Roger Burns 1957 (Owensboro Ky)

The sun goes down, the pain begins
To stay in bed would be the best
Alas the pain won't ease
Back in the chair I go

I try to endure to get asleep
Pain won't let me win
Medication is the answer
To numb out the pain disaster
