Sad Are The Wannabees

Sad are the tear stained faces,
Of the wannabees.
Wanting to be the focus of attention.
And awaiting to stay prepared,
For that day the spotlight shines upon them.
With the special effects of thunder,
Lightning and the whitest of clouds...
Appearing as if they float descending,
From the heavens above.
An image kept fictional,
In their minds rehearsed publicly to delude.
So hopeful they are this wish becomes true.

But...
No chance to them seems coming soon.
Since performing as an understudy,
No one is hoping to pay to witness...
Someone not good enough,
For a role to play even to substitute it done!
With threats and promises,
Heard from them to hear...
How the script needs to be rewritten.
To eliminate the antics,
Of applaud pleasing crowds.
Seeking to be entertained by a scene stealer.
Known to be comedic, sarcastic.
And lies to deceive,
Dramatically the truth.
With a capability to remove reality as it is.
Supported and endorsed by loving fans!
