Tears

Tears are shed when sad
They have fallen in your past
Tears were held inside
Never will find a love to last

Tears have left a trail
A hidden mark on your heart
Tears had covered up feelings
Heart was torn apart

Tears release the anguish
Tears release a pain
A scar from them so hidden
Til appearing someone the same

Scars from the tears heal over
Scars fade away, never more
They’ll always be a reminder
Til there’s love like never before

Tears are always a sign
Tears will never cease
Tears of joy and love
Tears when at total peace.
