Takeoff

Life goes on without me as I’m here living in the brief moments of our crossing paths. My body is a mindless vessel continuing to go through the motions while I live in a fantasy where feelings are without restriction. Fears of rejection have grown exponentially into an intimidating foe, soon to be consumed by the insatiable fire in me growing for you. Resistance like a spray bottle in an inferno, these feelings are starting to boil over now. I want to be fluent in your body language. I’ll move so slowly that nothing gets lost in translation. Speechless encounters, but I can hear you calling out for me every time our eyes meet, drawing closer with each pass like gravity. Finally, I’m doing more than just wishing things would change. I’m here opening my heart in hopes you’ll do the same. I’m craving some one on one but no games. You shine brighter than the sun, but I can’t stop staring at everything daring me to take this shot with you. Ready for takeoff, but I’m not flying if it’s not with you.
