Gone

I don’t understand it, was the only one in it me?
How do I relieve the torment of something that wasn’t meant to be.
Nobody was hurting, yet your blood still leaves a stain..
Nobody needed rescuing, please tell me will paracetamol find the pain?
What do I do now, just live and carry on?
When the very thought of you may soon vanish and just be gone.
No holding hands or eyes to stare,
Just crippling anxiety and dark despair.
I held onto you even when you were falling in that massive hole we dug
Now I miss your face, ur crooked smile and all I want is one last hug.
You’ve ripped away everything.. your cries, your warmth, your face
Now I stand here alone with flowers, looking down, your gone.. no sign, no trace.
