In My Mind You Don't Reside

I have decided in my mind you don't reside.
Not anymore.
Like you occupied before.
I've stopped my crying.
I'm now dried up.
And living a giving that time to myself.

In my mind,
You have been gone and pushed aside.
With no regrets.
And...
Better I feel,
You don't affect my happiness.

In my mind you don't reside anymore.
I woke up and decided,
What my tears are cried for.
Since you've been gone,
I'm not alone or lonely.
Not like before,
When you were the one and only.

Since you've been gone,
This happiness I never felt before.
When you walked away,
And slammed the door.
I cried.
Not for me but for you.
Yes, I cried.
Because I realized and knew,
You did not know what you had.
And what you did not know left me glad!
We're through.

I've stopped my crying.
Now I'm all dried up.
No heart here is broken.
You for me,
Was just a token of love.
You made see,
I want more than a token.

In my mind you don't reside.
You made me realize...
I want more than a token love.
Not to lie or it to hide.
I want more than a token love.
Not to hide or lie about it!
