Letter to my Parents

Help Heal me from this never-ending pain
a dream life turned into a nightmare and now I cannot wake
Hug me to make up for your mistakes
apologize instead of criticizing me for your foolish aces white lies and secret sides of life I never asked for
taking up so much space and now I can’t see the love in the cluttered place
Excited to be a part of you
just to be reminded that ill hate who I become because its proof
proof that the cycle continues
and the nightmare is not over
that the pain had only begun and now it’s all because of who?
Encouraging myself to get through
even though I came into this world with you
I still wonder if you care but ill look foolish asking you for help
because you couldn’t even change for yourself instead u described your flaws through me
Leave me to become my person
because I know I can be perfect
without questioning who is there for me in moments of destruction
why am I broken?
searching for memories that I wasn’t beaten mentally
scraping away all the things that u did to me but then ill be left with nothing
a blank canvas with the words HELP written a million times but doesn’t look good enough or worth it
screaming through the white and black
but you can’t even notice
I’m falling just like you and now I understand why you hurt me.
