Death Do Us Part

On a night that should be felt with laughter and light,
behold the bride that held the cold metal so tight.
She knew this was the night
to gain her fortune right.
She stood still in the honey of the moon light.

She plunged the sharp metal into his heart.
As the poor rich man gasped she was about to dart.
His body settled down; she thought she was so smart.
The blood trickled out as if it was a form of art.
She whispered, "Till death do us part."

About this poem

This tells us of a story about a woman who married a man only for his money. On the evening of their wedding, she murders him. I wrote this poem just because i love writing thriller and horror stories so I tried to do in the form of a poem.
