A Pierced Piece
by: Riza Alvarez

Oh my soul shout out thy cry!
Thou hast need something to tell,
Say it! and He will listen,
For great indeed is He and Trustworthy.

Oh my loving Master deep within me - fainting!
Could not help but whining...
Thou shalt make me strong and persevere
Cure thy servant for Thou is the healer.

Oh my loving Master 'til when such pain be gone?
I took a step not just once,
To face the truth and make a change
But aches instead to me hast come.

My soul is hoping for possitivity:
Change of heart, oneness, and sincerity
But it pierced all the more inside of me
When all I expected seems hopeless.

Oh my loving Master I am tired.
Be my refuge, be on my side.
Hear my supplications in thee I beg,
With thine presence is a mend.

About this poem

It's about an author's personal experience wherein she is trying her best to win her Father's love for her, but it turns out even more difficult. She is frustrated of thinking of when he'll be pleased by her. So she she's praying to the Almighty to hear and heal her and to not leaver her.
