The Nadir Of A Troubled Heart

Long are the dark hours of the night,
Not a soul in site ,
but the voices come from everywhere,
the walls,the floor,the doors,
Some are jokes,some are cries,some are gossip,
i close my eyes ,slumber eludes me,
my mind takes me to Her,
whose mere countenance,
infuses the life source back into me,
i walk into the night ,
my destination unknown,
hoping to see Her,
whose presence will bring forth the amber light across the skies,
with it the long awaited hopes for the future,
forcing the darkness to retreat,
to bring eternal solace,
to the Nadir of a troubled heart.
