Life and it's journey

Codey James Weitzel 1987 (Minnesota)

Depression, Anxiety, Abandonment, Homelessness, Addiction
The pain of living without a home
The struggles of addiction and feeling so alone
The fear of being abandoned, the sorrow that it brings
The overwhelming sense of depression that nothing can fix
The anxiety of not knowing what
tomorrow will bring
To feel that there's no one to turn to, no one to hear you sing
It's an uphill battle, every single day
But don't give up hope, don't give into despair
For there is a solace, if you look for it there
The key is to find the strength within
To keep going, no matter what life throws in
Poetry for the soul can be a healing balm
To help you through the darkness and keep you calm
So don't forget the beauty of the written word
It can bring light to the darkness and peace be heard.

A poem to give hope in those darkest moments, but one thing: I think your mean the possessive "its" and not it's which stands for it is. Many make that mistake taking it's for its, but these two are quite different in meaning. They stand a world apart and should never be confused.
