If Done Meant With Intent

If you are one to do to another,
A doing done meant with intent...
To bring them grief, sorrow and pain.
Taking away any happiness to have had.
Before you came along,
Determined to create for them...
A sustaining to remain a life of anguish.
That for them did not happen.
But for you it did with no ending of it quitting.
Leaving you expecting a forgiveness to hear.
Yet none is heard,
From their mouth to your ears given.
Or it to mention?
What is it are you expecting?
Love letters?
And an invitation to attend a wedding.
To rush to an alter.
Exclaiming a loud 'I Do' in accepting,
An apology you knew was intended...
Not to mend but end a relationship destroyed.

Who poisoned the minds of these people?
To believe anything they do to someone else,
Is deserving of forgiveness.
With clinically diagnosed amnesia.
Guaranteeing the memory,
Of one victimized...
Permanently remains that way to stay duped!

'Would you like more tea in your cup?
Or more pudding made you crave to taste?
Hmmm?'

'What about that banana bread?
Cooling from an oven you freshly baked.'

'Oh...that?
I am saving for a special occasion.
I have yet to plan just when that may be!'

'Soon, I hope.'

'Don't be so anxious.
Your time is mine.
To await patiently for it to come,
Unexpectedly.'

'I don't premeditate to anticipate,
Anything, anymore these days.
It is better to let the chips,
Carried on shoulders...
Fall where they may.
Regardless how disappointing,
The wait may be for that to happen.'

A doing meant done with intent to do?
Has a reason to tolerate,
How an action deserving to be remembered.
Is never forgotten.
Whether or not forgiven.
And with patience to allow,
God to do the right thing!

'Why are you wrapping up that banana cake?'

Although so many are deserving a piece.
You know...
Being able to forgive has its own benefits.
Rewards do come.
No matter when.
No matter the time.
But they come when they come.
And the time is right when that happens.'
