Segment One.
I let my towel hit the floor and I start to get dressed. I wear my lacey black underwear, just for the purpose of knowing it’s there. I stop at my underwear for a moment and look in the mirror. My panties and bra block my most private parts from view, but leaves the rest of my skin visible. I look myself over in the mirror. I hate the way my body looks, the way my hips stand out, the way my stomach is so noticeable, the way my breasts take up so much space in my bra, it seems they spill over the thin fabric of the lace. The way my thighs and breasts have stretch marks as to say ‘look at me’. I quickly finish dressing and say to myself in the mirror “today I am wearing lacey. Black. Underwear. It’s for me not anyone else. I wear it for the sole purpose of knowing it’s there.”
