I Miss You

It's time for sleep in the night is here
It's just your love I truly fear
The day comes and goes once more
my broken heart so deeply sore
I miss you so very much.
To have you here right by my side
And to hold your hand with all my pride
Without you and you being so far away
I miss you more and more everyday
It's because I love you
To want and need you is not wrong for me
It's to show how much my love you see
To be with you and know you're there
Because you see I do honestly care
Because sadly I miss you
Please listen and understand
For it's for you who holds my hand
I have no one else in my life
So far you I must survive and fight
Because I miss you
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
May your dreams be as good as mine
And someday soon we'll be just fine
But for now I miss you

When I was 19 I got put away in a prison and I didn't get out till I was 21 well these are the poems I wrote while I was in and they were very deep for me but I finally got out 2 years later and I've never been back and I just praise God for my life more…
