Suddenly Silent

Suddenly Silent
Looking down at such a magical sight.
My child was born on a cold winter's night.
The moon is Crescent and half a glow.
I sit back and heaven shows.
Quietly sitting, my thoughts are deep.
While slowly rocking, I hear the creeks.
For all is silent as I watch you sleep
The fire is bright in its hearth of stone!
The air is warm, and my fears are gone.
Transcending my thoughts into the outer of space.
Looking for answers upon your face.
I began to think in an unusual way.
Slowly I rise, while wiping my eyes.
I turned to see the window afar.
And catching my vision, the glimmer of a star.
My heart is beating like a warrior’s drum.
My body is warm and somewhat numb.
Placing my hands upon the seal
I see the shadows of a snow-covered field.
I cast my eyes into the heavens above.
And suddenly realized - I - created love.
