What I Must Use

A mental fog is in my brain.
It clouds the way I see
My life because anxiety
Makes all things seem in vain.

Anxiety can be a wall
That I cannot break through.
Or if I want a mountain view,
It is so very tall.

It also is a lightning bolt,
Too fast and strong to be
Of any help or hope for me,
But rather is a jolt

That shakes me hard and knocks me down
Until I realize,
That I must use what God supplies,
When on His solid ground!
