Today is a Good Day
Such thoughts going through my head
My mind is racing
Some of this
Some of that
Cannot seem to quiet it down
So much to do today
So much to do this week
Stress is building
I must focus
Get centered
Truist in my Higher Power
Today is a good day
If I just let it be one
Today is a new start
If I just trust in my Higher Power
And focus on what is important to me
The rest will just fall in line
How? I do not know
But with my Higher Power's help
I will conquer the day
And help others in the process
Yes, today is a good day
About this poem
This poem was written back in 2019 in an attempt to keep myself focused and positive. I wanted to channel positive energy trying to start my day off right. I put it here to share it with others in the hopes it helps them start the day off right.
