Gods Rain

I held my head under water for as long as I could
To keep my mouth from screaming the words my heart wishes it would…
I’ve given you the words straight from my heart &’d you still don’t know what I mean
And after so long my heart starts to build walls to avoid seeing this tragic scene.
I wish I could unlove you &’d erase you from my heart because all this time I’ve been adoring you and you just rip, rip, rip, ripped me apart…
How did I go from falling for you to begging for your trust or not being able to live without you, while I watched you come &’d go only offering me lust.
I wish my heart could unlove you because you never meant me any good and I thought that given time you surely would.
While I gave you love you dangled yours on a string up, up, up you’d keep going, and make things impossible for me. Watching you give it to others knowing it was never intended for me, feeling like I misread what God said would be.
God gave us to each other HE didn’t gift you to me &’d HE made me at your side but you placed me at your feet but still I washed yours many times &’d you used them to walk all over me. So while your basking in the bad enjoying &’d causing my pain I suggest you grab an umbrella because soon Gods going to cause it to rain.
