Stand Near And Stay Prepared

When the night has come.
And the land is dark.
And the Moon is the only,
Light we'll see.
No I wont...

'No.
Stop this craze. Stop your madness
That's not what I meant at alĺ.
You guys just don't get it.
I am the one,
Facing some serious stuff.
Life changing stuff.
And you dudes believe I want you to sing???'

Boss?
All we want you to do is cheer you up.
You are not alone.
Do you realize,
How many are locked away?
In prison.
With wishing to hear,
Voices lifted in song!?
There with support to give.

'Me?
I give up.
Too long.
It has been too long I kept in my mind,
Believing.
If I declared my innocence.
Who would accuse me of purposely,
Committing crimes and fraud to deceive?
Me?
The Angel of Profit and Personal Fortune.
Have I been wrong not to see,
My activities might offend others?
Others now,
Jumping to conclusions.
With a passing of premeditated judgement.
Leaving my heart filled with grief.
As if to pronounce me guilty for nothing.'

Boss?
Calm down.
We can always find another song.
More appropriate.
One you may find suitable to your liking.
How about...Knock on WOOD?
Or...
What about The Best as sung by Tina Turner?
That song so describes the 'real' you.

'I am being prosecuted.
Persecuted and crucified.
Criminalized.
For committing a multitude,
Of felonies.
None of which I know anything about.'

What about that song, PEOPLE?
You know...
People needing other people.
Are the luckiest people,
In the World.

'Oh...how I wish,
I was behind the wheel of that bus.
Rumored to crush others confessing,
Loyalty to me.
As if I could be so vain, egoistic.
And driven by narcissism.'

Hmmm...
We have not practiced it.
But...
We can attempt to sing, You're So Vain.
Is there a key you prefer us to sing it in?

I'm learning my burdens are my OWN to bear.
Get...away...from me...NOW!
