I rather be in love

Aldo Gabbay 1964 (sap paulo)

I rather be in love
With somebody
That will not play
Any games with my
Feelings
Or hurt my feelings
Because I know that
It would make me sad
Also I hope
That person will respect me.
And accept me
The way I am
I know that I don’t have
Anything that I should change
In me
I will always be myself
Also I will respect
That someone that
Will be in my life
I am not a rich men
I also hope that person
Will understand that I am
Not a rich men
I don’t want to be in love
With a person
That is selfish
Because I know that I would
Hate that
I want somebody
That will love me
For the person I am
Also I want somebody
That is also religious like me
I am not a religious fanatic
I hope that person will
Understand that
I don’t want somebody that
Will break my heart
I want somebody that
Will bring happiness to my life
Also I don’t want any person that is rich
I need to fall in love with somebody that is
Simple like me
