Unveiled Portraits

Faces in the street, a vibrant parade,
Unveiling stories that time has made.
Each countenance holds a world untold,
Emotions and secrets they silently hold.

Aweary face, etched with lines of strife,
Bearing burdens of a challenging life.
Eyes that reflect the weight of the past,
Endurance forged, their spirit steadfast.

A child's face, with innocence and glee,
Curiosity sparkling, forever free.
Unfettered dreams in those radiant eyes,
A canvas of hope, where possibility lies.

Faces weathered by the hands of age,
Wisdom gathered from life's vast stage.
Each wrinkle a tale, etched deep within,
A tapestry of experience, eternally akin.

Faces filled with joy, laughter's embrace,
Expressions that light up time and space.
Smiles contagious, spreading like fire,
Kindling hearts with warmth and desire.

Faces etched with sorrow, marked by pain,
Heartache concealed, tears that remain.
Masks of strength hiding cracks of despair,
Enduring battles, hoping for repair.

Faces that blend in, faces that stand out,
A diverse mosaic, without a doubt.
Colours and creeds, a human sea,
Reflecting the world's rich tapestry.

Faces in the street, a symphony grand,
Each one unique, a soul to understand.
May we cherish and honour every face we meet,
For they carry stories, oh so sweet.
